Portfolio > Screen and Interface > (Visual Properties). Original user experience consultation. I worked with Dean Rutter, founder of, in his condo and later in their brand-new storefront on Clark Street, to give him and his programmers a crash course in interface design. The original platform, developed for the first storefront computer-based apartment search, had bad touchscreens; one of my first recommendations was to scrap what they had and find ones that worked reliably. There is nothing more frustrating to users than poorly calibrated touchscreens. This online product descends from that early work, and many artifacts remain, such as the "walkthrough" concept.
